Volunteers connect PWC’s programs with first responders and facilitate the change the organization set out to affect.

We welcome individuals who are passionate about mental health and the first responder community to join our empowering and supportive community. Our force of volunteers utilizes their unique skills, perspectives, and lived experiences to strengthen PWC’s mission and programs.

What to Expect After Applying

You will immediately receive a welcome email from our system thanking you for applying. In that email, you will find a link to complete some pre-requisite training, please work on this before your interview.

Someone from our team will reach out to you within 2 weeks of receiving your application to set up an interview. Interviews will normally be conducted over our Google Meet platform. For some positions, we may ask that you provide a resume and references for your interview but don’t worry, we will let you know if that’s needed.

During our interview, we will ask you questions to get to know your values, lived experiences, and skills better.

We welcome you to ask us questions to learn more about PWC and how you can best contribute to our organization the the community.

If we find that your skills and experiences are a good fit for PWC, within two weeks after your interview, we will send you an acceptance email to invite you into your new role!

If you choose to accept our offer, within two weeks of your acceptance, we will send you an onboarding email with instructions on how to get started in your volunteer role.

Soon after acceptance, you will be invited into the office for a new volunteer welcome session where you will get an overview of PWC, complete onboarding, and meet the team.
